Welcome to my website Gabi’s Wellness by Design and my first blog; the first of many, I hope.
It took me a while to choose a suitable name for my website. I do feel it is lengthy, but it does encompass what I am about. Does the name give you some idea?
I am a mother of two boys, a wife, a gourmet coffee lover/ addict (definitely no instant s***), a potter and a Reiki /Reflexology Practitioner.
I have a dry sense of humour, which not everyone gets and I can get quite deep sometimes, which my hubby can only handle in small doses!
I am very passionate about wellness in all areas: body, mind, soul, spirit, relationships, health lifestyle, fitness, diet, work, play etc. I aspire to lead a balanced, happy and healthy life making a positive contribution to our beautiful world. This is an ongoing personal challenge.
Why “by Design”?
First of all, I wanted to include my pottery creations in the name; my love of the design process; whether it is a new design for one of my essential oil pendants, my celtic crosses or something entirely different that has inspired me to create it.
Secondly, another aspect of the “Wellness by Design” is my belief that once we are able to let go of all the things that are not part of our true, authentic Self, what remains is “Wellness” as intended (by design) by our ultimate designer / creator God, the Universe etc.
Phew, that was a bit deep!
